As a second generation vintner and winemaker Matt has has spent his life immersed in the vineyard and family cellar. He began making wine with his father, learning from hands-on experience and those who surrounded him. He discovered that winemaking is about expressing the land, with each bottle narrating a unique time and place.

M. Sherwin Cellars was born from Matt's desire to create his own product. Guided by the principles taught by his father and mentors, it's an experimental playground where Matt crafts small-batch, fruit-driven wines that capture the essence of mountain-grown fruit.
